In this workshop, we organise a family as a unit, one table set for one family. In addition to the child have a box of Lego parts for building the Strandbeest, parents would be given another box of Lego parts too. During the workshop, parents and children built the Lego Strandbeest together and the interaction increased between parents and children. When the children encounter difficulties, parents can assist them. When the parents encounter difficulties, children would become a teacher to guide the parents on how to solve problems.

After the building is completed, the parents raise the table and set up a inclined platform for the children and they make use of gravity to test the walking ability of the Lego Strandbeest. Children can also tie a rope to the Lego Strandbeest and pull it to walk directly.

 

樂高仿生獸親子工作坊

今次工作坊,我們以家庭為單位舉辦活動,一張桌子一個家庭,除了孩子有一盒拼砌仿生獸的零件之外,父母都會獲派一盒零件。當工作坊講解期間,父母與孩子一同拼砌仿生獸,增加親子的互動空間,孩子遇見困難,父母可以從旁協助,父母遇見困難,孩子又會充當小老師,指導父母怎樣解決問題。
拼砌步驟完成後,父母抬起桌子,架起一個大斜台,讓孩子利用地心吸力,測試仿生獸的行走能力。小朋友亦可以為仿生獸繫上繩子,直接拉動它行走。
